Kenworth unveiled the all-new T680 Next Gen on February 11th in a highly anticipated online release event. The T680 Next Gen is technically an update to the original
but with so many changes to the interior and exterior of the truck, it’s essentially an entirely new model. The Next Gen T680 features an updated aerodynamic design and it’s loaded with new technology and features. Optimized Aerodynamics
The T680 Next Gen features a narrower front end, A-pillar turning vanes, integrated front air dams, redesigned chassis fairings, and optional 28-inch side extenders to reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency. These updates work together to make the T680 Next Gen up to 6% more fuel-efficient than the previous model.
Customizable Digital Display
The 15-inch digital display features vivid, high-definition instrumentation that can be customized to the driver’s preference with the push of a button. Systems Check, Tire Pressure, Driver Performance, Speedometer, Fuel, and more, are all available to be viewed in the digital display depending how much or how little the driver prefers to see while driving.
Advanced Safety Features
The latest safety features including Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation, Side Object Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Torque Assisted Steering work together to help make the T680 Next Gen one of the safest semi-trucks available.
Stylish Upgraded Interior
Drivers can choose between the standard Vantage interior or the Signature Diamond interior in either tan or gray. The Signature Diamond interior features Madrona door inserts and stylish wood grain accents. With the optional Driver’s Studio, the T680 Next Gen can be outfitted with premium upgrades like swivel seats, flat screen TV mount, upgraded sound system, and a large drawer-style refrigerator.
